15th Anniversary day 4

Day 4 we went to Magic Kingdom. We had breakfast reservations at Crystal Palace and lunch reservations at Be Our Guest.

They were filming the Disney Christmas specials on this day! Lots of celebrities were in park. It was fun to pop in and out of some of the filmed scenes.

Because we told them it was our anniversary trip we were given a “celebration” table with confetti and an amazing view of the castle! We love the breakfast selection here and it is a fun character dining spot.

Talking Mickey! So...Michael and I got stuck on several rides this trip. Whenever you get stuck on a ride and they have to come get you off and walk you “back stage” you get an open fast pass to anything that still has available fast passes. We really didn’t want to wait in line to see Mickey but with our free fast pass we waited 5 minutes and we got to see the main man!

Be Our Guest! Lunch was good! We have now had dinner and lunch here. We’ve heard breakfast isn’t something to write home about but we’ve loved eating here both times.

After lunch we park hopped over to Animal Kingdom. This was not on our list of parks to see but with our park hopper we decided to do it. There were still fast passes available for Everest and Kilimanjaro Safaris at night so we did both of those grabbed dinner and headed back to Magic Kingdom.
We finished our night with Fire Works, seeing Nick Lachey, being apart of Fitz and the Tantrums concert, and then spent some extra magic hours riding a few more rides that we literally walked onto. It was the perfect way to wrap up our 15 year anniversary trip.
The next morning we woke up and headed to the airport and we were back in Texas by 1:00!

15th anniversary day 3

Our 3rd day we left Disney and headed to Universal Studios. It has been a dream of mine to have a Harry Potter experience and that is exactly what we did!!! Universal was basically empty all day. We pretty much just walked on every ride except one. I can’t wait to go again and take Claire!

Olivander!!!

We’ve got our wands!!!

Gringots!

First Butterbeer of the day! I believe I had 4...

Michael had pumpkin juice and it was delicious!

Serious and the Hagrid’s motorcycle and side car

We took some stuff back to the car before hopping on the Hogwarts Express and saw this guy! We rode a few non Harry Potter rides - again we walked straight on!

#12 Grimwald place

Kreecher comes to the window and looks out if you knock on the door

We ate lunch at the 3 Broomsticks. It. Was. Fabulous! I ordered bangers and mash with minted peas and Michael ordered fish and chips. Both were so good. I ordered orange fizzies to drink and Michael ordered a Gilly water and sadly it was just water lol.

On the Hogwarts Express headed to Hogsmead!

Hogwarts!

This was a magical day and pictures do not do it justice! The food, the drink, the smells and everything were so spot on! We loved using our wands to cast simple spells around Diagon Alley and Hogsmead. What an amazing day that I will never forget.

15th Anniversary day 2

Day 2 we headed over to Epcot for Food and Wine. We had printed off a menu earlier and we had everything mapped out! It was so fun!

About 4 that day we had eaten everything we wanted to eat and explored everything we wanted to explore...so we headed back to our hotel to ask how much adding a park hopper to our ticket would cost. Long story short she told us the wrong price ( it still wasn’t bad) and we got a park hopper for the rest of our trip and headed over to Magic Kingdom for some fire works and rides!

15th Anniversary

Michael and I decided for our 15th anniversary to do an adult only trip to Disney. We wanted to go during Food and Wine Festival which is in October/November so we went a month before our actual anniversary. It was amazing! We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and it was the perfect setting for an adult only trip. We flew in on Thursday and headed straight to Hollywood Studios. The crowds were low and the weather picture perfect. We immediately went to lunch at our favorite lunch spot - Backlot Express and enjoyed a burger and a dark chocolate peanut butter cupcake. We were able to ride every ride we wanted with little to no wait time. For dinner we ate a Mama Melrose - delicious!!! I don’t know if I would take the kids there. It’s pricy for pasta but for adults only it was amazing. We finished off our night watching the Star Wars fireworks and headed to Disney Springs.
