Claire's Baptisim

On June 1, 2014, Claire was baptized by Michael during our church service.  It was such an amazing time for our family and for Claire to publicly profess that she is a follower of Christ. 

Claire's Dance Recital 2014

On May 31, 2014 Claire had her dance recital.  She started at The Dance Studio in Onalaska in the Fall and has worked hard every Monday night to learn new dance steps and techniques.  We adore her teacher Mrs. Jenny and we are so thankful that she has a kind teacher who knows a ton about dance.  Claire took Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Clogging this year.  She would say that Jazz is her favorite but it is the one she struggles with the most.  Ballet is her best and then tap.  We were very proud of her and all she accomplished through dance this year

For Jazz the danced to Little Wild One and had the most adorable retro looking outfits. 

For ballet she danced to Once Upon a December.  This was such a beautiful dance.

For tap the danced The Charleston.  It was fast and fun to watch that fringe fly!

It's a...

BOY!!!! Today we found out that baby number three is a boy! We will be welcoming Callen Gray Haffner into our lives in 18 weeks or less!! It has been an emotional day. The doctor believes that Callen could have SUA (single umbilical cord artery). However, our ultrasound was inconclusive. So...we will have another one in 3 weeks. What this could mean...there is a chance that SUA is a sign of Down syndrome - however that shows up in the kidneys and heart also and Mr. Callen's kidneys and heart are just perfect...so we are pretty positive that it's not Downs. It can also affect the growth of the baby. So, we will have more sonograms - probably one each month, and at 30/32 weeks I get to go in for a stress test each week. God continues to remind me of this verse - "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14 

In other news we have one very excited big brother and one very sad big sister. Claire just knew it was going to be a girl and was very sad that it was a boy. She is coming around and we know she will be fine. She's already told me she loves the baby and kissed him. 

Swim lessons

The kids are taking swim lessons for the first time. The Livingston program seems to be amazing! We are on day 2 of 8 and the kids have already learned a lot and seem to have more confidence in their swimming. Cole hates water and is jumping off the side of the pool! I am excited to see them at the end of the lessons!! 

Claire spent about 10 minutes in the beginners class and was then moved up to class 2!
