Birthday Party

Today we spent the morning at Double Creek Farm at a birthday party for one of Cole's friend Ryan.  Ryan and his family go to our church but Ryan and Cole are also in class together.  Cole loves Ryan so we were happy to celebrate with him.
It was PERFECT weather today!!!  It was so nice to be outside for several hours.  I'm sad that I didn't get a picture of Cole and the birthday boy.

Seriously love this picture!!

So I did get one with Cole and the birthday boy!!

Valentines 2014

We had a fun valentines day. The kids loved getting tshirts in the mail from Gigi and BB. Claire, Cole and I woke up to a surprise from our valentine! Cole had a Spider-Man box filled with gummies and several new hot wheels. Claire had a Cinderella box filled with chocolate and daddy got her a bouquet of flowers! I had Reese's peanut butter hearts and beautiful red roses! My students at school showered me with flowers, chocolate, stuffed animals, cards and coffee mugs! After work we dropped the kids off with our friends the Lester's. Michael had built them a built in bench last week and they gave us a date night in return! Michael and I went to Humble for dinner. We ate at Chuy's which is a Mexican food place we hear everyone talk about but have never been. It was so good!!!! The best part of our date was the 2 hours in the car just talking about life! I love having one on one time with my hubby!! All in all it was a perfect day! Happy Valentines Day!

100th day of school

Claire has made it to the 100th day of school and to celebrate they all dressed up like they were 100 years old!  All week Claire has been talking about this and the one thing she insisted on having was a cane or as she said - a walking stick.  Then her teacher told her she could put baby powder in her hair to make it white so we had to do that as well.  I added some wrinkles and my grandmother's shaw and she was transformed!  She is very excited about all the fun activities she gets to do today and we can't wait to hear all about them.  We are so excited about how well she has done in her first 100 days of school.  We look forward to seeing how the next 80 go!
