Polar Express

On December 22nd my parents took us to ride the Polar Express.  It was a fun and magical experience and I would love to do it again!  The kids had a blast!

Meeting the conductor
With their golden ticket
You can clearly see that Callen was having the time of his life!
Such a fun time
before the train started moving
Cole sat exactly like this for the first 10 minutes that the train was in motion. He was taking everything in and thinking about everything he saw.  He really is our deep thinker and he thinks a lot.  I love this about him!
Getting our tickets punched
The North Pole
Sweet boy taking it all in
We picked up Santa at the North Pole and he and his elves came on and gave each child a silver bell.  I believe that Cole rang his from that moment until we got home at 8 PM that night
Cole went in for the full hug when Santa came by.  He wants to make sure that Santa knows he's been good this year!
Their bells
Santa even had a chat with Callen
Claire danced in the aisle with the chef.
Mommy can still hear the bell ring!

Family Pictures

Our first family pictures as a family of 5!  They turned out perfect!!!

This picture and the one below it pretty much sums up our lives right now.  I laughed so hard when I saw them.  It captures so much truth!!!

These pictures were not planned and I LOVE them!  I love that my kids love each other!

Swoon!

Look at his eyes!

Callen Gray is 2 months old

Callen turned 2 months old on December 14th.  He is wearing 0-3 month clothing and 3 month sleepers and size 1 diapers.  He is holding his head up more and more.  He rolled from his belly to his back the day before he turned 2 months old.  At his well check he measured 14.5 pounds and 24 inches long.  This put him in the 95% for both height and weight.  Our pediatrician said - Someone forgot to tell him he's only 2 months old!  In this past month he also had the honor of playing baby Jesus in our church's A Night in Bethlehem.  He did so good!  He was awake for most of the 2 hours each night and never got fussy.  He is such a laid back baby.  We've had a couple of hard nights where he just doesn't want to sleep - he thinks it is party time.  If we let him play or we are talking to him he is 100% happy, but if we lay him down and or turn off the lights he screams... Luckily nights like this are VERY few and far between.  He is also going 4 hours between feedings and having at least one 5 hour stretch each night!

Halloween

I'm so behind in blogging!!!  We had a great Halloween this year.  We took the kids trick-or-treating in a few neighborhoods and then went to the last home game of the football season!
