Callen Turns One Month

Callen turned 1 month old on November 14th. He is such a joy to have in our lives!  Claire and Cole have fallen in love with him and have adjusted very well to having him here.  Mommy and Daddy have had a hard time with keeping up with house work, homework, and various other daily tasks. He is our first baby that wants to be held all the time.  But, I am ok with that.  I realize now that time goes so fast and one day he won't want to be held - so I am loving every moment.  Here are some facts about Callen
  • He weighs around 12 pounds
  • He eats every 3 to 3 1/2 hours
  • He is doing 4 to 5 hour stretches at night
  • He smiles a LOT
  • He is very easy going unless he is hungry or cold
  • He is holding his head up 90% of the time
  • He loves talking to his brother and sister

Pumpkin Patch 2014

The Saturday after Callen was born we had a first family fellowship at the pumpkin patch.  It was a beautiful fall day and we loved getting to hang out as a family and with our church family.

Duck races - hands down my kids favorite activity!

Train ride

painting pumpkins - the kids had a lot of fun coming up with things to put on their pumpkins

Hospital Visitors and Going Home

We had several visitors while we were in the hospital.  Grandpa Bill and Grandma Suz drove down from Covington.  My parents were there.  All of the staff guys came and brought Michael lunch.

Joy and the girls came to visit.  It was fun to have Katie and Mal come meet Callen!

On Wednesday the Eckhardt's came to visit.  Griffin is 3 weeks older than Callen.

My sweet girl friends from school came and brought us dinner.  Chelsea, Katie, and Marissa - love these girls!

On Thursday the hospital brought us a special dinner for 2.  Michael and I ordered cheese burgers and fries and chocolate cake.  It was fun to have a little date right before going home.

Getting Callen dressed in his going home outfit!

We were so excited to go home!  We actually made it home in time to pick Claire up from school.
