Callen Gray is 3 months old

Callen is 3 months old!  He is doing so much these days!
  • He jabbers
  • He laughs out loud
  • He smiles
  • He still has a grumpy resting face and looks grumpy quite often
  • He wears size 2 diapers
  • He wears 3 month and some 3-6 month clothing.  We had to pack away all the 0-3 month because it was too short!
  • We believe he weighs around 15 pounds
  • He is on a great eating schedule - 6, 10, 2, 6, 10, 2  - we sometimes, about every third night, skip our 2am feeding and sleep until 6.  I however still wake up around 2 and 3 out of habit.
  • He can roll from his back to his side. He has rolled from belly to back once.  And he apparently can roll from back to belly.  I have put him to bed several times this week and when I go to get him up he is on his belly.  But, he seems to only do this at night.
  • He thinks Claire and Cole are the greatest thing ever!
  • He loves to lay in his crib and watch his mobile.
  • He spends Monday - Thursday with BB and Gigi

Happy New Year!!!

I was thinking back over all of our New Years from the past - before we had kids we either had people over to our house or spent it with friends hanging out.  When Claire came along so did our youth New Years Eve Retreats.  We had several and the kids always stayed with my parents.  2 years ago Michael and I had had a crazy year - we were the only people on staff at our church and the stress and weight of that was a LOT.  Several members of our church gave us sweet gift cards and we spent that New Years Eve just the 2 of us - relaxing and reflecting on what God was doing in our lives.  Last year we spent as a family but with friends.  It was fun and crazy all at the same time.  This year it was the 5 of us...in our pajamas...all day!!!  We made Chicken Corn Soup for dinner, made s'mores in the fire pit, played Disney Infinity, had the creamiest hot chocolate ever, and watched Captain America 2.  We rang in the New Year all together and then quickly went to bed.  I thought going into the night with out plans would make me sad - but I was wrong.  It was one of my most favorite nights ever!!

Christmas Day 2014

Christmas day was WONDERFUL! The kids slept until 7:30 that morning!  We got up and saw what Santa brought us and played with our new toys for a while.  BB and Gigi came over and we had breakfast - biscuits and sausage gravy and chocolate gravy!  Then we opened gifts.  Michael and I continued our tradition of cooking Christmas dinner - ham, mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green been casserole, and fruit salad.  It was very yummy!  We stayed in our pajamas all day and we loved it!
Santa brought Callen a My Pal Scout and stuffed his stocking with new paci's and socks! Scout sings songs about Callen and uses his name - super cute gift and Callen thinks it is the funniest thing ever!

Santa brought Claire and Cole Disney Infinity

Santa always leaves candy canes on the tree

Gone!

Disney Infinity has proven to be fun for all of us!  The kids have loved it!!!

Going through stockings - TONS of candy!

Santa brought Claire make-up, bubble bath, and nail polish

Cole and Claire got Frozen jelly belly jelly beans and Mickey and Minnie jelly beans

Cole got Bat Mobile hotwheels in his stocking

Santa also brought Claire some Mr. Bubble bubble bath

Gracie got gifts as well!  A new ball to play in the backyard with and a fox!  The fox was in half before the kids were done opening gifts and destroyed by the next day!

Claire was really sad when she got up to see what Santa brought her.  She had asked for Disney Infinity from us...she asked for a Puppy Surprise from Santa. Well Cole and I had found Puppy Surprise a LONG time ago and bought it for her from the boys.  She was VERY excited to see that she still got it - just not from who she asked for it from :)

New American Girl Doll - Isabelle!!!

Cole got a bike!!

Dolly and Me clothing

Claire got her first big girl Bible.  Our children's ministry is starting the Gospel Project in Sunday School this year and they have a Bible that shares the same pictures and maps as the curriculum does.  So we bought Claire the leather bound version of the Big Picture Bible

Cole has been asking for the magnets for a while now.  It is his favorite center at school.

Callen was a little spoiled for Christmas!

My grandma made Claire a new quilt.  It matches her room - lime green and hot pink
