Fall

We have decorated for Fall! Our scentsy warmers are full of Fall scents and its great! We are pretending its 65° outside instead of 98°! We haven't finished up outside but we will soon! I am so thankful for the Fall decor my grandma gave me last year! It adds so much to my house!

Ballet and Tap

Claire's Monday/Wednesday school offers ballet and tap on Wednesday's right after school. We don't even have to take her anywhere. The lady comes to them! It is wonderful - except for the fact that I will never get to watch her dance class because I am still at work. But I am SOOO happy for her to get to take dance.
Her first class was great. She loved every moment!! We did learn that even though a leotard is not required she will be getting one so that she matches the other little girls.
Also, soooo thankful that Michael took all these pictures for me!!

Refuge

There is SO much I want to say about the Refuge conference Michael and I attended this week. However, I don't know how to put into words what all God did in our hearts. The overwhelming theme for the 24 hour period was - God's got this!
Michael and I have so much on our shoulders right now but this time away revived us. We were able to focus on God and His mighty plan for our lives
Here are some quotes and scripture I took away from this time:
I want to love God for who He is and NOT for what He gives me.
If the reward after life is Christ then my reward during this life should be Christ!
The reward is not seeing the fruit of your labor. The reward is even being apart of the journey.
I don't want to live in a Christian world that talks a good idea but never takes action to change it.

So thankful that God allowed us to get away from everything! We were able to fully rest in Him and take refuge in Him. It was wonderful have absolutely no responsibility!!

Big Boy Bed

My baby is not a baby any more.  On Sunday night we transitioned his crib into a toddler bed.  We realized he was ready to stay in his bed when we could lay his nap mat out at the church and he would get on it, go to sleep, and then not get off of it until someone told him he could.  It was harder for me than I thought it would be.  I was so sad that he is hitting milestones that I am happy he is hitting but wish it would have come a little slower. 
He has slept great for the past 2 nights in his bed.  He did fall off the bed the first night but it didn't phase him!  We are leaving his SIDS monitor hooked up because we know if he gets out of his bed (or falls out).
