Weight loss update

After being VERY undisciplined over the holidays and gaining 7 pounds back I decided that I had to kick it into high gear in January. I started faithfully back on my Herbalife shakes and added the proleso duo to them. After a week and not loosing weight I realized it was the milk in the shakes keeping me from hitting my goal. So I switched to almond milk (SUPER yummy by the way). This week I have lost 2 pounds and 2 1/2 inches off of my belly!!!! I have also added yoga back to my life. If anything it is making it to where my back doesn't hurt on a daily basis. I am excited to see what the next two weeks of my proleso duo do! I have a goal to hit by Claire's birthday in March and I will hit it!! I have to :)

Beauty and the Beast 3D

On Saturday I took Claire to see one of her and my favorite movies...Beauty and the Beast in 3D!!! I have known for a while that we were going but we waited until Friday night to tell Claire. I think that I was more excited than she was but she was still excited! Saturday morning came and Claire was up with the sun ready to get dressed and leave. We got ready, found her Belle doll and headed to the theater. Since it was the first showing on Saturday morning the theater was almost empty. Claire and I got a small popcorn and a lemonade and found a seat in the theater. Claire LOVED the Tangled Ever After short film at the beginning of the movie and loved all of the previews in 3D. When the movie finally started I was really glad there were only 3 other families in the theater because Claire sang her heart out!!! Each and every song she sang every word at the top of her lungs!!! It was such a special moment!!! She also polished off an entire small popcorn with very little help from mommy!!!

Happy 18 months Cole

*Edited to add stats!
Cole you are 18 months old!!! I can NOT believe it!!! I sometimes feel like you should be a little baby still and then sometimes I feel like you should be 4 years old - ha! You are doing SO much these days and you are one VERY independent little boy!! You are walking and running everywhere. Your leg gives you a little trouble so you fall often, but it doesn't slow you down. You are a monkey and climb on everything!
You love to play with your toys. Your favorite toys right now are your Batman cave and figures, your workbench, and any type of ball. You do love to read and will sit and look at books for a while. You have an amazing arm and can throw really far with amazing accuracy.
You talk nonstop. You say: momma, daddy, sissy, I love you, bye bye, more, juice, please, thank you, no, yes, uh-oh, batman, football, ball, this, that, I stuck, me, Elmo, bubble, chicken, up, down, mine, poop (such a boy). You know what a cat says, a dog says, a monkey says, you do an amazing Cookie Monster impression, you know what a bear, lion, and dinosaur says.
You are still signing: more, milk, all done, help, night night, please, thank you, I love you
You are understanding us when we ask you questions and most of the time you will answer us.
You are wearing a size 3 diaper but I think we are about to move you to a 4.
You are wearing size 18 month clothes. We have some 24 month clothes and they are big on you.
**You are 25 lbs 7 oz and 34 inches long. That puts you 90% for height and 50% for weight!!!
One of my favorite things you do is fall onto your back and look up at me and say "I stuck!!" It is hilarious!
You are very funny. When you do something that you think is funny or anyone else finds funny you will do it over and over again just so people will laugh. We have to be VERY careful what we laugh at.
You are smart. You will listen very intently to what we are saying. You also can follow directions very well and you understand when we tell you to do something and give you consequences when you don't do it.
You have started sitting in time out for 1 minute at a time and amazingly you stay in time out just like you sister did.
You go to bed at 8:00 and wake up around 7:00 each morning. Your naps are crazy. We try to keep you awake each day until after lunch so you will take one long nap, but, most of the time you are falling asleep right before lunch and then you are taking a late afternoon nap as well.
You love to eat, but you like your foods whole or cut up in front of you so that you know what you are eating! You like using a fork and you are getting pretty good at it.
You are really the HAPPIEST BABY WE KNOW!!! You are so full of joy and bring joy to those around you. I am so glad you are in our lives!!!

We go February 24 for his 6 month evaluation of his leg - please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!!!

Funny Claire moments

Claire has said some very funny things lately and I wanted to write them down so we wouldn't forget (and so we can use them when she's a teenager he he).

The other day she told me that she didn't like chicken (she eats chicken nuggets ALL the time). She told me she didn't know how to swallow chicken and that she just had to chew and chew and chew it and it would never go down her throat. This was all leading up to lunch, in which she thought we were having a chicken dish...to her surprise we were having beef - which she quickly said "I don't know how to swallow beef either!"

While picking at her lunch the other day she looked at us and said "Are you sure about this?"

Also while eating she calls out "Mommy, do I have to eat the nasty stuff?"

We were telling her that my aunt got a new horse named Dottie. She looked at us and said "we need to go see aunt Jan." I told her that we did need to go see her and she said "great, after my nap we will go see aunt Jan!" I explained to her that we were busy that day and would have to go another day to which she replied "that's ok, I can go by myself."

We told her the other night that she was the cutest little girl we knew. She quickly told us that she was not cute (which she tells us often). We asked her what cute meant and she said "it's my booty!" Michael and I explained to her that cute meant pretty. It wasn't until later when I called her a cutey booty that it clicked that she thinks that cute is only in reference to her booty!

While singing the Imperial March from Star Wars she somehow switched gears mid song to Angels We Have Heard on High. It was seamless!

She walks into the bathroom where I am fixing my hair and says "Mommy, your hair is so beautiful!" I say thank you and she immediately says "Can I play your phone?" How quickly they learn that a compliment can get you far!!!

Cole will be crying and she will say "I think it is time for him to go to bed!"

When we get on to her she will say "You hurt my feelings I need an apology from you."

If she has been in her room for a while when she comes out she will always say "I've missed you guys!" Like she's been gone for a long time.
