The day we moved was a whirl wind!! I was up by 5 to take Cole into Dallas for his appointment. Around 8 that morning 5 men from Livingston showed up to pack all of our stuff into a cattle trailer and a large moving truck. They had everything in the truck ready to go around noon. Bill and Suzanne also came that morning and helped pack and clean. We had lunch with the moving crew at Cracker Barrel. The moving team headed to Livingston and we went back to the house to say goodbye and do a few final cleaning touches - and grab Gracie and Nemo. We then began the 4+ hour trip to Livingston. I cried so hard leaving San Saba Ave. We will miss this home so much but the things that made this place special all came with us! By the time we pulled up at our new house the crew of now 25+ people had us unloaded and nice and furniture in the rooms they were suppose to be!!! They even had all of our beds put together. I was overwhelmed. People would ask me questions and I would just stare at them with a blank look on my face. We had a sweet new friend bring us a hot meal and dessert. There was water, juice boxes and Cokes in a cooler for us. And plates of cookies and brownies! Again - overwhelmed!!! We are so thankful for all the help and the ways people blessed us our first weekend here.
